The Saint Petersburg, Russia-based photographer manages to capture some of the sweetest photos you’ll find of a young girl and her cat. Of course, this isn’t just any young girl. It’s Katherine, the daughter of the photographer himself. The British Shorthair cat named LiLu Blue Royal Lada and the young girl do everything together from drink a glass of milk to play a game of chess.

Es gibt hier erstmal Sendepause.

Mein Fazit des diesjährigen Islandaufenthaltes:

-gefühlt dreimal mehr Touristen
-dafür dreimal weniger Vögel
-ausgetrocknete Bäche und Flüsse
-meist gehörte Sprachen: deutsch, französisch, holländisch
-zehnmal mehr Camper und Wohnmobile
-Preissteigerung zum Vorjahr um die 20% (Aufwertung der Krone und z.T. deutliche Preisanhebungen in der Tourismussparte)
-deutliche kommerzielle Erschließung auch der "Neben"highlights des Landes, insgesamt sehr stark kommerzielle Ausrichtung [in allen Bereichen] ...

... aufgezwungenen, quecksilberhaltigen Energiesparlampen raus - LED rein.
Die technische Entwicklung der Leuchtdioden macht rasante Fortschritte. Schon heute sind LED wirtschaftlicher, als es andere Leuchtmittel je waren - und dabei ist das Potenzial der vielseitigen Halbleiter noch längst nicht ausgeschöpft.
